About Me

Hi, I’m Carrie! I’m an Associate Therapist with a background in education, community work, and nonprofit advocacy. I have over 10 years of experience supporting people in reproductive, education, and disability justice spaces. I’ve also worked with individuals and families facing challenges such as substance use, trauma, and systemic oppression.

Decolonial work is at the heart of my practice. This means I honor the histories, cultures, and strengths of the people I work with, while recognizing the impacts of systemic oppression. I believe healing happens when we connect with our values, identities, and communities. I’m passionate about working with migrant communities, people of color, gender-expansive folx, and those impacted by the legal system.

My style is warm, supportive, and straightforward — I want you to feel seen, heard, and safe to explore your experiences. Together, we can identify your goals and challenges, and create a plan that fits your needs. I use a multimodal approach that includes cognitive and dialectical behavioral therapies, harm reduction, and practices that explore emotion-focused, attachment-based, and somatic work. My goal is to help you build strength, find balance, and feel more at peace.
