About Me
Nathalene is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist who strives to create a safe and supportive space where individuals feel heard and empowered to explore their inner selves. Nathalene grew up rooted in the Hmong, and American cultures. This unique experience of navigating two worlds shaped her passion for mental health and helping others find their voice. It taught her the challenges of balancing cultural expectations while carving out a path of self-discovery.
Nathalene believes therapy is a collaborative process where clients are encouraged to grow, develop self-compassion, and embrace their inner strengths. She works with individuals, couples, and families to strengthen relationships, manage stress, and find joy, even during life’s most challenging moments. For adults, Nathalene engages in meaningful conversations that focus on their goals and aspirations. For children, she uses play therapy to help them express themselves and work through emotions in a way that feels natural and safe.
Nathalene deeply values the diverse cultural identities and unique stories her clients bring to therapy. Along with encouraging elements like anime, music, story telling, and art into the therapeutic process. Whether it’s drawing inspiration from a favorite character or connecting through music, she encourages clients to explore their inner worlds in ways that resonate with them.
Her goal is to provide an inclusive and affirming environment where clients feel seen, understood, and supported as they navigate life’s challenges with renewed confidence and hope.
